- What does "Flatrate" mean?
- Prices for flatrate accounts depend on the maximum speed. Monthly data transfer is unlimited.
Flatrate accounts are available for a duration of one month only. Subscriptions will be renewed automatically.
Flatrate accounts are limited to one news server. All other accounts have access to two news servers. - What kind of software do I need?
- To download from our Newsgroups, you may use any News Client you wish. For example:
- What are Newsgroups?
- Due to acknowledged standards, newsgroups today are THE international discussion-platforms. In over 100,000 thematic structured and publicly available forums not only text-news are transmitted, but binary data is also exchanged.

- Because no other media outlet covers as broad of a range as our Newsgroups. At present there are already over 100,000 different Newsgroups with millions of participants -- and the number is rising daily.
- It doesn't mater whether you like to discuss software-problems, child education or lifestyle topics: you will undoubtedly find Your Newsgroup.
- My Internet provider already offers a Newsserver. Why should I subscribe to simonews as welll?
- Because most of the Internet-providers specialize in web related services and newsgroups are often neglected. Therefore, only a few newsgroups are available, the content is incomplete and is saved only for a short period of time.
- What does high download-speed means?
- On each of our two News servers, up to 8 ports at 1 MB/sec for download are at your disposal. Therefore you can download up to 16 MB/sec. (The speed of flatrate accounts depends on the selected tariff).

- Simply go to our customer area. Should you have any questions, we are at your disposal via telephone or email.
- I want to cancel my account
- You can cancel online via the customer area, email or telephone. Subscriptions can be canceled 14 days in advance, and up to one day before expire date.
